David Weiss – Founder/Editor
An internationally published journalist, David Weiss has been covering NYC audio for Audio Media and Mix magazine since 1999. His work has appeared regularly in publications such as Drum!, Time Out New York, Remix and many more online and print outlets on music and technology.

David graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in Communications (1994). He lives in Manhattan.

Janice Brown is a writer, editor, music and music technology enthusiast, avid concert-goer and commercial music producer. Starting at EQ in 1998, Janice has been immersed in the NYC recording scene as a journalist for over a decade, covering recording technology, business trends and music production. She has visited countless music and sound facilities, interviewed top record producer/engineers, music business figures and recording artists. As a freelance writer, sheâ€™s been published in Mix, EQ, Post and a variety of other print and online magazines.
Janice has also worked as a producer at So Loud Music (http://www.soloudmusic.com), collaborating with composers and artists to develop original music and license music for advertising, film and television.

Susan Hudes is a painter, illustrator, designer and art director, born and raised in NYC. Her illustration and design work includes numerous magazines, CD covers and book covers. Design and Illustration clients include Henry Holt and Co, Sony Music, BMG music, Pfizer, Kiplinger’s Finance, Philadelphia Inquirer, cnn.com, and epicurious.com. She designed and illustrated the Hudes Tarot for US Games, which has been translated and distributed worldwide.
