SPARS & Source Elements Host Live Source-Connect Demo at NYU

On Tuesday, July 20 at 7:30PM, SPARS and Source Elements will host a live multi-site production demo linking a studio at NYU Clive Davis Department of Recorded Music in NYC with one at Full Sail University in Orlando.

Check out a live demo of Source-Connect at NYU on Tuesday!

The session will demonstrate Source-Connect, a software which enables audio connections between digital audio systems (Pro Tools, Logic, Nuendo, etc.) anywhere in the world, allowing direct-to-the-timeline recording with real-time, broadcast-quality audio using T1, Cable or DSL Internet connections.

Robert Marshall, founder of Source Elements, will be on hand in NYC and Source Elements’ Director of Technology Rebekah Wilson will be at Full Sail to jointly conduct the demo using a live link between Pro Tools systems in each location.

We have heard very good things about this latest version of Source-Connect (v3.5) from folks who are regularly conducting remote recording sessions. Is it a game-changer? Come out and decide for yourself!

SPARS members, students and producer/engineers are welcome to attend the NYC session (schedule & location below), but must RSVP, by either sending an email to rsvp@source-elements.com or logging into http://source-elements.com/events.

Attendees will also be eligible to join SPARS at the SPARS Special Event rate. For more information please go to the Join SPARS Special Events Page.
