Stratosphere Sound to Host TAPE CAMP in NYC, July 9-11

Stratosphere Sound announced that it will be the NYC home for this year’s TAPE CAMP.

TAPE CAMP will make a Studer 827 putty in your hands.

Created by producer/engineer Chris Mara, owner of the Nashville studio Welcome to 1979,  Tape Camp is a three-day clinic which takes place every few months in a different city, offering local musicians and gearheads a chance to learn the ins-and-outs of analog recording, in a small, hands-on environment.

Students will be working on Stratosphere Sound’s Studer 827 and Otari MTR90 in Studio A.

Tape Camp @ Stratosphere will be taking place from July 9th-11th, with very limited capacity. For inquiries or to sign up, contact Chris Mara at cym@mindspring.com.
