New in Reason 6

According to Propellerhead…The included Factory Sound Bank in Reason 6.0 has been expanded with thousands of new patches and loops for Reason instruments, and hundreds of patches for the new Pulveriser, The Echo and Alligator effects.

Pulveriser is a new effect that makes even the most mild-mannered drums sound positively monstrous. Pulveriser puts crunchy compression, dirty distortion, a multimode filter, and flexible modulation in a single effect that’s also great on bass, keyboards and vocals.

Pulveriser

The Echo is a new advanced stereo echo bringing together the brilliance of modern delays with the organic sounds of analog circuitry and old-school tape machines. The Echo is equal parts pristine stereo delay, sound sculpturing toolbox and playable performance effect.

The Echo

Alligator is a new three-band pattern-based gate effect that turns bland pads into rhythmic textures, radically twisting your loops and tweaking boring beats into block-rocking breaks.

The Alligator

Add to this a number of workflow enhancements, technology advancements, audio transpose, 64-bit support, better ReWire handling through individual outs on every channel, and a new self-contained song file format, which makes collaboration easy.
