2 Cent Bridge (NYC) Expands Catalog with Three New Commercial Music Libraries for 2012

New York-based creative audio house 2 Cent Bridge announced that it has added 47 new original tracks, in the form of three new libraries, to their commercial offerings.

2CB has followed a strong 2011 with three new commercial music libraries.

The new material is available in three collections that each express distinct movements in popular music and culture: “Americana,” “The Classics” and “The Scene.”

2 Cent Bridge founders William Longyear Mayo and Keith Reynolds drew inspiration for “Americana” from the small town charm and folksy pluck of shows like “American Pickers” and “Storage Wars.” Their Americana library is a modern reflection of Main Street U.S.A., full of blues guitar rooted in Southern Rock and supported by contemporary, thumping drums.

According to the company, the “Classics” library represents “a nod to nostalgia as well: a collection that, while not reminiscent of a specific era, takes you back to a time gone by. Featuring guitar and piano, ‘The Classics’ is an acoustic- driven set.”

Last, but not least, the forward-thinking “The Scene” references current pop-rock and dance trends, while maintaining an experimental feel. As 2 Cent Bridge explains, this library “showcases heavy synths and electronic drums. The Scene is an exploration of how music can be created with more than just notes and chords.”

In addition to composing and producing original music, 2 Cent Bridge reports that it will spend much of 2012 expanding their film and new media portfolio while still growing their relationships with creative studios, ad agencies, and publishing
companies like JinglePunks. The company plans to release another 30 tracks by year’s end.
