Vintage King Nashville Launches

Music City has a new place to lust for gear – and then take it home.

This sonic HQ is Vintage King Nashville, a retail store and demo studio established by new/vintage recording equipment retailer Vintage King Audio. Now open for business, the store follows in the footsteps of Vintage King’s flagship Los Angeles location, which opened in 2012. Both stores are set up to allow gear to be demoed and compared in a studio environment, while the local vibe and studio culture are integral to their design.

VK tapped Nashville studio designer Carl Tatz to design and tune the control room, which is outfitted with an API 1608 console with automation and features custom furnishings by Sound Construction. The control room utilizes Tatz’s PhantomFocus System and the Carl Tatz Signature Series products from Auralex Acoustics.
