Heritage Audio Debuts DTT-73 & TT-73 – Tabletop 1073-Style Preamps

Get ready to put these up on a pedestal. The Spanish sound masters known as Heritage Audio have introduced a beautiful new mic pre with flexible functionality.

The new additions are the DTT-73 (Dual Tabletop) and TT–73, which put the coveted DMA73 Class A mic pre into an appealing and versatile form factor. In this tabletop format, the TT series becomes useful for everything from live use to portable systems, hotel room/temporary studios, on location recording, and more.

The two-channel DTT-73’s MSRP is $2200, and the single channel TT-73 is $1200. Heritage Audio hasn’t made it clear if the units are available quite yet, but whether it’s sooner or later, expect them to be in high demand.

Here’s further explanation, from Heritage Audio:

Now musicians are able to give 1073-driven line levels to FOH engineers, using the front panel DI inputs. While on the road they are able to record at the same studio quality level from hotel rooms, etc… Stage microphones can be brought up to line level without using long cable runs. These are just some of the possibilities.

Special care has been taken with the internal worldwide power supply and no noise has been introduced.

New to the range of tabletop units is the implementation of DI THRU jacks for simultaneous use of instrument amplifiers. A ground lift switch prevents any ground loops introducing hum in the audio when using these.
