TK Audio Announces Three New 500 Series Modules — MB1, TC1, TF1

Just call Thomas Kristiansson “butter”, because he is on a roll! First he cooked up the release of TK Audio’s sister company, Vintagedesign’s VBC stereo bus compressor earlier this month, and now three new 500 series modules.

The new TK Audio modules include the MB1 – Mini Blender allows for blending of parallel sources, the TC1 – Transceiver/Reamp Tool converts balanced signals to unbalanced and unbalanced to balanced, and the TF1 – High and Low-Pass Filter is an analog filter with a fixed slope and variable range.

The MB1 will be available for $565 MSRP, the TC1 for $449 MSRP, and the TF1 for $449 MSRP.

Mini Blender

Mini blender for parallel processing. Insert your favourite processor to the front XLR’s and blend it with the signal that is feeded through the unit. Electronically balanced inputs and outputs. Blend control in 21 steps.

TC1

Transceiver – Reamp Tool

The main function is to convert +4dBu signals to unbalanced and back again.

  • It’s an insert station. Insert your unbalanced gear such as guitar pedals and old echo FX into your DAW or console.
  • It’s an active DI box with up to 26dB of gain. Plug your favourite instrument into your collection of vintage gear via the TC1.
  • It’s a reamp tool.
  • It’s a Swiss Army Knife on stage. Hook up balanced gear on stage between your instrument and amp.
