Audio Post Moves: Sound Lounge Announces New Hires and Business Expansion

People are in motion at Sound Lounge, the large-scale audio post facility in NYC’s Flatiron District.

In all, the company has announced the addition of three new positions to their creative video production arm, casting division and new business department.

Sound Lounge’s creative video production arm, Mister:-|Face, now has Michael Glennon as its Executive Producer. Glennon is a highly experienced integrated producer, whose portfolio includes advertising agencies co:collective, GREY, AFG&, and JWT. Other past clients include top brands such as Nestle, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, Macy’s Diageo, Rolex, HSBC, Microsoft, Kimberly Clarke, Energizer, Cadbury Adams, Jet Blue and Bloomberg.

The company also now sports a new on-camera casting division, Sidecar Casting, which will be headed up by Anthony Pichette, On-Camera Casting Director. Pichette comes to Sound Lounge from NYC’s Kipperman Casting, where he worked on large voiceovers, industrials and commercial campaigns ranging from Coke, Capri Sun, Kraft Singles, Nintendo Wii, Olive Garden, Pizza Hut, Six Flags and more. While at Kipperman Casting, he also assisted the in-house casting departments at networks such as Nickelodeon (Blues Clues), Sci-Fi, Food Network, Spike and MTV.

Next up, Shirley Ramos has joined Sound Lounge’s Business Development team. There, Ramos will oversee sales and business development for both Mister:-|Face and Sound Lounge. Ramos was previously Director of Business Development at Click 3X and Pulse Music.

Lastly but not leastly, Michael Gullo is now onboard as a new producer. Gullo will help oversee production, scheduling and client relations at Sound Lounge.
