Society of Composers and Lyricists in New York Mentor Program – Fall 2014 Semester Announced

If the answer is “yes” – and we can’t imagine why it wouldn’t be – then there is a very powerful resource at your disposal: The Society of Composers and Lyricists in New York Mentor Program have announced their Fall Semester.

To be considered for admission, applicants must be SCL in NY Associate Members. If you are not yet a member, you can take that step here.

Accepted applicants who are newly developing their craft will get the opportunity to spend the Fall Semester immersed in programming, which is designed as an introduction to media composition in New York City.

The application deadline is 11:00 PM this Friday, September 19thso get going!

Selected mentees will participate in the following activities:

• Behind the scenes access to New York Film & TV composers

• One-on-one interaction with music industry professionals

• Networking with SCL mentor composers

• Attendance of live recording sessions

• And more!

All programs will be held on late weekday afternoons. The Fall Semester runs from Oct. 1 through Dec 5, 2014.
