STUDIO

With the dizzying array of computer GUIs taking over sight-lines in the control room, it can be challenging to listen with your ears instead of with your eyes. But with RADAR in the studio, you can turn off the optional monitor, hit record on the Session Controller, and let the music flow. RADAR’s all about taking technology out of your way so that you can be creative and spontaneous. Use RADAR and its Session Controller / Meterbridge for amazing sound and a refreshingly simple approach to studio workflow. Here’s how:

INTEGRATING RADAR WITH YOUR STUDIO is fast and easy. Patch RADAR alongside an analogue or digital mixing console for optimum control, or use it as the front-end of an audio workstation.

MIXING WITH RADAR can tie mixes to the multi-track. Do a stereo mix-down of tracks played out of RADAR, sending the mix back into RADAR for simultaneous recording. Plus, using RADAR as the mix destination preserves the audio’s fidelity straight through to the end.

AUDIO POST PRODUCTION

BWAV EXPORT TO DAW. RADAR records natively to BWAV format and gives you the option of exporting to DAW via Gigabit Ethernet or DVD.

ADRENALINE DR recording engine uses a high resolution frequency-synthesized digital phase lock loop (FSD-PLL) to produce unparalleled digital recording fidelity.

SEAMLESS PUNCHES & FILE FLATTENING make it fast and easy to edit and consolidate overdubs.

PROFESSIONAL SYNC: Get speed and positional referencing from a variety of sync sources including: LTC, MTC, Video Sync, Word Clock, and AES/EBU. LTC can be chased in both forward and reverse directions for film applications. RADAR’s internal clock circuitry features multiple dedicated, application-specific PLLs for the best performance possible. RADAR also uses differential clock lines for superior noise rejection meaning a cleaner, more stable clock signal.
