Waves Audio Releases Waves Nx – Virtual Mix Room Plugin

A leading plug-in developer, Waves Audio has released a virtual mixing plug-in that closes the cross-reference gap between headphones and monitors.

Waves Nx uses a proprietary Nx technology that “unmasks” the headphone sound, allowing users to hear their mixes in ‘real-world dimension’. The seemingly 3D audio program also supports head-tracking via a built-in or external video camera so that users can become more immersed in the emulated mixing environment.

Additional features of the plug-in include 5.1 mixing capabilities, and transparent character that doesn’t effect the original tone.

Waves Nx is available now for an intro price of $49 ($99 MSRP). Compatible hosts include Mac and Windows OS, with AAX, RTAS, AU, VST, and VST3 format options.
