AES 2016 Recap: New Gear Photo Journal

We just flew back from AES and boy are our ears tired!

OK, that was terrible. You know what’s not terrible though? All the awesome new gear we saw at the 2016 convention.

This year’s AES convention in LA was a bit sleepier than some, with seemingly reduced foot traffic compared to prior years, but the seminars and new releases did not disappoint.

Nerd out with us hard, and take a look at our photo recap below to see some of the very best new audio gear to come out through Fall 2016.

In addition to all the new tools and toys, industry luminaries like Frank Filipetti, Geoff Emerick, Mark Needham, Chris and Tom Lord-Alge, Chuck Ainlay, Dave Pensado, Jimmy Douglass, George Massenburg, Fab Dupont, Eric Valentine, Allen Sides, Jack Joseph Puig and Tony Maserati could be found walking the floors or sharing what they know at a variety of panels, presentations and public interviews.
