Human Resources: SCORE A SCORE Adds Marchese Taylor, Jacy Skeen

The innovative music licensing/creation/supervision firm SCORE A SCORE keeps expanding.

Two new additions to the LA-based company have come on board. Now in the fold are Creative Manager Marchese Taylor, who was previously a Music Supervisor for Brooklyn NY-based Konsonant Music and Licensing Director for Cascine; and Business Affairs Coordinator Jacy Skeen, a Rights Generalist from MediaNet Digital.

Founded in 2010 by Jordan Passman, SCORE A SCORE continues to have an upward trajectory. Specializing in the creation and licensing of original music, sound design and voice over, SAS services all media including advertising, promos, trailers, branded content, film, TV, and video games. The company was ranked #1492 on the 2016 Inc. 5000 list (#22 in the top media companies category).

Taylor and Skeen will both work out of SAS’ West Hollywood office, alongside Passman, Director of Business Development Jake Weinreb and Coordinator Cian Favat. Taylor will be focusing on creative initiatives and development, as well as the growth and expansion of the overall business, which connects top-tier composers and their music with content producers across a wide range of media.

 Recent SAS clients include notable brands and franchises including Google, Verizon, Intel, Microsoft, Salesforce, Fox, NBC, CBS, Disney, Netflix, MasterCard, Sprint, Target, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Funny or Die, Honda, Subaru, Acura, Shire, Pfizer, AstraZeneca and more), and trailers for films such as Allied, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Ben Hur, Justice League, Kubo and the Two Strings, Jungle Book and Star Wars (Trailer #1, Teaser #2, TV Spot).

The SAS team also music supervised the acclaimed Netflix series, “Chef’s Table” (featuring an Emmy-nominated score), and the Clio award winning podcast, “Hunt The Truth,” the podcast, “Crazy Good Turns” and music coordinated “Fearless,” a new docu-series now streaming on Netflix. New projects for YouTube Red and Red Bull will debut later this year.
