Mackie 32X8 Bus Console w/ Meter Bridge & Stand

We’re an audio production studio in New York City looking to sell this high quality recording/mixing console! The unit is in great shape & fully functional, but it does show some signs of use. The meter bridge is a little damaged (the glass covering the left meter is missing with the meter hand slightly bent), aside from that only minor cosmetic issues (some faded paint, scuffs & scratches, etc.). We’re selling it as-is with the unit, power supply, and the optional Mackie stand included. The price is $850 (cash preferred), but we'll consider reasonable offers. They are pro grade ADC and perfect for patching SD, HD, AES, Analog Video or Audio/Video sync signals. At Fluxivity Recording we are building a compact new multipurpose audio room, "The Dyno Room" which will be completed soon. Please contact us for your advance scheduling needs. The centerpiece of the room is an all discrete Neve Kelso 10 channel console, and a Digidesign Protools HD3 system, V7.4.2, with a Digi 192 interface with 8 analog inputs and outputs. Plug ins include Waves Diamond, Oxford Dynamics and Oxford Inflator. The primary use is anticipated to be mixing stems through the Neve console, though the room will also be available for editing, mastering and other uses in accordance with your needs. Rental of the room is available on a short or long term basis and rates are competitive and available upon request. The aural landscape that helps define a community, a country, or a cultural era can be studied through the Archives' extraordinary holdings, which cover virtually every aspect of recorded sound--from Mozart to Maria Callas to Motown, from symphonic works to presidential speeches, from radio dramas to television specials. A vital research facility for performers, musicians, scholars, critics, and the recording industry, the collection also plays a leadership role in developing technology that allows for the transfer of sound from obsolete to accessible formats. Through special recording projects--often pursued cooperatively with other archives and record companies--the Rodgers and Hammerstein Archives’ collection and preservation efforts ensure that the spoken and musical sounds of the century will resonate for current and future generations. RHA contains approximately 700,000 recordings and more than 100,000 printed items. Responsibilities: RHA will be offering a limited number of summer internships. We provide interns with the unique opportunity to receive professional training in handling, describing, re-housing, and researching archival audio/visual materials-- training that builds upon and interns graduated coursework in library and archival studies. RHA interns receive direct and hands on supervision from skilled archivists who manage the NYPL's recorded sound collections and are given a special opportunity to be involved in the inner workings of caring for and provided access to this historic, bustling, and exciting collection. The Furman HDS-6 / HR-6 Audio Distribution System offers a great-sounding, cost effective and flexible way to provide custom mixes for up to sixteen people in recording and live sound environments. The combination of unique functions add unprecedented functionality and convenience to any multiple-user audio application. This system comes from a professional, non-smoking, recording studio and includes: (1) HDS-6 Headphone Distribution Station (10) HR-6 Personal Mixers (10) HR-6 Mounting Clips (for mounting boxes to a mic or music stand) (10) CAT-5 Cables (each is made up of 1 grey & 1 blue wire bound together. See picture) Linking the distribution unit and personal mixers is as easy as plugging in cables -- multiple HR-6's are simply daisy-chained together using the CAT-5 linking cables. Up to eight HR-6 remote mixers can be linked to an HDS-6, and two pairs of headphones may be plugged into each HR-6. The HR-6 is a compact six-channel, five-pot remote mixer that clamps to any mic or music stand. When used with the HDS-6, the HR-6 allows musicians to customize their own headphone or monitor mix, and the engineer doesn't have to touch the board. The HR-6 provides 4 mono pots and 1 stereo pot. The 4 mono pots allow each user to create a custom mix of four console channels or busses. The stereo pot will most often be used for a main control room mix, or for a stereo effects return. The HR-6 also provides a “Submixes Included/Excluded” button, which mutes the four mono pots, allowing only the stereo source to be heard, without having to alter the HR-6’s four monaural settings. These items are being "SOLD AS IS", but not worry, they have all been well cared for and work perfectly.
