Brainworx Releases BX_Rockrack Guitar Amp Plugin

Brainworx is a company known for producing near perfect emulations of world-class hardware devices. The new bx_rockrack guitar amp plug-in is no exception – aside from the fact that their capturing process was done in an exceptional way.

The bx_rockrack comes complete with cabinets, amps and an assortment of microphones to choose from.

Please refrain from twiddling the beautiful GUI of the bx_rockrack.

Bx_rockrack is available now for an introductory price of $199 until July 30, when it will then revert to its $249 MSRP. Rockrack works with Mac and PC and is available in AAX, AU, VST, RTAS and VST3 formats.

Feeling up to a challenge? Brainworx is also hosting a contest to create the best preset to be included in their V1.0 of the bx_rockrack. The contest ends June 30. Sound demos, video links and contest details are available via Plugin Alliance.

Here is what Brainworx has to say about their new plugin:

“BX give you a handful of perfectly modeled tube-amps, and the way they have captured COMPLETE recording chains in some of the best equipped studios with the help of very experienced engineers is simply revolutionary. Select your favorite speaker, choose your amp, tweak the gain and EQ settings, and there you go.

World-class guitar sounds, recallable and reliable. If you have ever tried to record the same identical amp in the same studio twice and ended up frustrated because the results just were NOT the same in the end you know what we are talking about.”
