Event Alert: The SCL & SESAC Present a Film & TV Songwriter Showcase at The Living Room, 7/16

Coming up next week – on Tuesday, July 16 – the Society of Composers & Lyricists in NY (SCL) and SESAC are coming together to put on a Film & TV Songwriter Showcase at The Living Room in Manhattan.

Blow Up Hollywood

The showcase will feature four songwriters performing their own songs with music supervisor (and Publicis Kaplan Thaler Music Producer) Theresa Nortartomaso, led in discussion by composer David Wolfert. The songwriters are Jason Dunn (Hawk Nelson), jazz/folk artist Leni Stern, pop singer/songwriter Chris Trapper (August Rush, The Devil Wears Prada), and rock band Blow Up Hollywood (Body of War).

Doors open at 6:30. Networking and pizza to follow.

RSVP here. It’s free for SCL Members, and $25 at the door for non-members. Although, that event fee will be waived if you sign up for an SCL membership online by credit card by 12:00noon EDT on event day.
