Now occupying one of the suites at the midtown NYC facility is Emmy Award-winning Sound Designer and Engineer Brian Beatrice. A highly prolific mixer, Beatrice’s portfolio includes short-form work for Nickelodeon, Food Network, USA Network, Syfy Channel and truTV. His commercial reel includes spots for agencies Baron and Baron, Publicis, Anomaly and Consulate.

Beatrice’s long-form track record includes work on long-form programs such as WNET/PBS’s “Nature,” “Secrets of the Dead,” “Wide Angle” and National Geographic Channel’s “Secret Service” series. He has also worked on many critically-praised documentaries for PBS, VH1, Lifetime, and The History Channel, and numerous independent films.

Beatrice’s Emmy win comes for his contributions to Christmas in Yellowstone, an hour-long documentary that airs seasonally on PBS.

Beatrice comes to Nutmeg from audioEngine, which was preceded by roles at Bionic and Tonic. His career launched in 1997 at National Video Center and Recording Studios, New York.

At Nutmeg, Beatrice joins a comprehensive multi-format post facility that also provides its clients with mixing, editing, graphics and color grading.
