DAW Wars – Tracktion Releases T7 DAW

Introduced in 2002, Tracktion’s DAW was designed to be approachable by musicians and producers of any caliber at an affordable price.

With major updates in the announcement of Tracktion T7 DAW, it now sports a new interface design with additional practical improvements to boost productivity and creativity. Lead developer Dave Rowland expressed his personal excitement toward the tools for manipulating clips and plug-ins. One of these tools is Clip Layered Effects, allowing complete control of sound design at clip level.

The T7 Multi-Browser Sync function provides the ability to preview multiple files at once.

Another new feature, Multi-Browser Sync, provides the ability to preview many files together, from multiple browsers, in sync with the edit. For plugins (VST and AU), there is a new visual selector to speed the sorting process and new LFO Generators to quickly modulate any plugin parameter. The Tracktion MARKETPLACE interaction has also been improved making it easy to shop for new virtual instruments and effects without leaving the T7 app environment.

The Tracktion T7 DAW that includes these features, and more is available for $60 MSRP. Check out the product page for more options.
