Berlin-based Tegeler Audio Manufaktur is now shipping their hand-made pro audio gear in the US. The first to grace us with its presence is the Crème Bus Compressor and Mastering EQ.

In the scope of the mastering process, Crème combines the best of bus compression and EQ. The EQ on Tegeler’s device is a modified update to the original Pultec with removal of unnecessary controls, and irrelevant frequencies. Rotary switches dress the bass and treble controls for a precise control.

Creme is a professional two-in-one analog mastering device for our aural fixation.

On the analog compressor side, users can push their signals hard with the harmonically rich sound. Crème’s compressor helps define and unify the bass and refine it with subtle dynamics. The switchable high-pass filter in the side chain ensures that, when required, even heavy bass doesn’t lead to pumping.

Tegeler Audio Manufaktur also offers the Vari Tube Recording Channel, the Classic Equalizer EQP-1, the Vari Tube Compressor, the analogue mastering matrix Konnektor, and soon to be released: the Schwerkraftmaschine, the ultimate compressor.

The Crème bus compressor and mastering EQ is available now for $1,799 MSRP.
