Free NYC Event: Ableton User Group NYC Meetup, Sunday, May 28

Join SonicScoop contributor Matthew Wang on Sunday, May 28 from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM for an NYC Ableton User Group Meetup.

Matthew Wang is a producer, songwriter, music technologist, and guitarist who has worked for and with bands including the Foo Fighters and Coheed and Cambria and teaches Ableton lessons in-person and online on his YouTube channel, w1wang, that has over 1 million views.

Wang is hosting the event along with Michael Hatsis, aka Banginclude, a Brooklyn, based producer and teacher who specializes in all things Ableton. This former Dubspot instructor and course developer cut his teeth in music with the first version of Live and continues to use it in innovative ways today.

The event will take place at Garnish Music Production School NY at342 Livingston Street, Brooklyn, New York, 11217, New York, NY and focus on songwriting and coming up with creative ideas through sampling and manipulating sounds in Ableton.
