HyDrive speakers feature carefully crafted paper/aluminum hybrid cone drivers that deliver an exceptional blend of warmth and attack that cannot be attained by traditional all-paper bass speakers. The outside curved, Kevlar®-loaded paper cone delivers a smooth, even response with a deep tone, while the inner straight, anodized aluminum cone produces highly accurate, distortion-free output. The new double-roll, curvilinear surround limits the drivers from over-excursion, while providing a smooth mid-band response, and the updated and optimized ferrite magnet assembly and steel chassis design deliver a maximum power-to-weight ratio to each of the HyDrive HD cabinets.

The HyDrive HD Series bass cabinets are available at the following prices: HD112 $399.99; HD115 $599.99; HD210 $499.99; HD410 $699.99.

A new Kush compressor is coming in September.

If the past is any indication of the future, Kush will be sure to deliver thick, creamy vintage tones with their forthcoming new compressor, The Novatron, available in September.

Kush has cryptically announced their next offering: The Novatron, a compressor slated for release in September. The company notes, “2 years of researching the initial 100 microseconds of analog compression is about to pay off.”

Though no other details have been disclosed—and a mere image clipping of a VU meter is all there currently is to see—Kush urges you to stay tuned to their Museletter, inside of which “All will be revealed” on September 5th.

Radial announces the Di-NET™ DAN-TX and Di-NET™ DAN-RX, Dante™-enabled direct boxes are now shipping.

Radial has your Dante-equipped network needs covered with their new DI-Net DAN-TX and DAN-RX DI boxes.

Developed by Audinate, Dante is a low-latency audio-over-Ethernet protocol utilized in professional and commercial applications. The DAN-TX and DAN-RX provide a simple and robust solution for sending or receiving two channels of analog audio over a digital Dante-enabled network.

The DAN-TX includes ¼”, RCA, and 3.5mm inputs, with a single Ethernet output that allows you to connect any analog device to your Dante network. When used with mono instruments such as guitar, the DAN-TX provides a thru connection for a stage amp, and includes a trim control that provides +/-10dB of gain. Balanced signal levels up to +24dB can be accepted without distortion, and a high pass filter and -20dB pad can be engaged when required.

The DAN-RX is a two channel Dante receiver that allows you to output balanced analog audio at any point on a Dante network. Dual XLR outputs provide connection to a mixing console, amplifier or powered speakers to route audio from FOH to the stage, or to remote rooms within a venue with separate PA systems. A 3.5mm headphone output with level control is also provided to test audio or monitor locally. The DAN-RX connects to the network via a single Ethernet cable, and ground lift is provided on the outputs to reduce buzz and hum from ground loops.

Both the DAN-RX and DAN-TX are built with rugged 14-gauge steel construction and employ high quality 24-bit/96kHz converters. Power for each device can be supplied with a 15V adaptor (included) or via Power over Ethernet (PoE), and both power sources can be used simultaneously for redundancy.

Pricing is $399.99 for both DAN-RX and DAN-TX.
